Client & Project

Byton
Spaceship Byton

Byton is a new car company which is gearing up to enter the American market. The goal was to establish their brand with these commercials. This client wanted to make two different types of films. One VR/360, and the other a traditional commercial. The VR film would take you through the everyday lives of people as they use this car in relatable situations. The concept for the traditional format was borrowed from the VR film which involved space, kids and time travel. Although these were shot as short films, eventually we made :15 :30 and :60 sec cuts for Bytons’ marketing campaigns.

My Role

ACD, DP, Editor

My role originally started as acd, DP & Editor on this project. There were two pieces of work the client wanted. I was in charge of the VR/360 short film for this commercial. This included production and post production. We shot this all in one location at Vista Studios in Los Angeles. Although there were two separate projects, it worked out since this was all shot in a controlled studio, and the concepts were related to each other. The process was extremely fun and client loved the results.
